You Won’t Believe What Anthony Pompliano Thinks About Bitcoin and the US Government! 😲

So, Anthony Pompliano, or as I like to call him, “Pomp,” pops up on CNBC’s Squawk Box to chat about Bitcoin. You know, that digital currency that everyone and their grandmother is suddenly an expert on? Yeah, that one. He’s got some thoughts on Bitcoin, altcoins, and stablecoins. Spoiler alert: he thinks the US government is going to start buying Bitcoin. Because, why not? 🤷‍♂️

Now, when Joe Kernen, the host, asked Pomp about Bitcoin and Ethereum getting all this attention, Pomp confidently declared that Bitcoin is the king of the market. I mean, who needs a crown when you have a digital coin, right? 👑 He says Wall Street is all about Bitcoin, not Ethereum or those other wannabe altcoins. Sure, Ethereum and Solana are getting some love, but they haven’t hit new highs like Bitcoin. It’s like being the best player on a losing team. You’re still the best, but it’s not saying much.

Then, when asked about stablecoins, Pomp said they can’t go beyond $1. Wow, groundbreaking stuff! They can grow in market cap, but let’s be real, they’re not exactly the life of the party like Bitcoin. It’s like saying, “Hey, I have a dollar!” Great, but can you buy me a coffee with that? ☕️

US Government to Start Acquiring Bitcoin? You Bet! 💰

So, Pomp thinks the US government is going to announce they’re buying Bitcoin for some Strategic Bitcoin Reserve. Sounds fancy, right? He calls it “the main dish.” I mean, if the government is buying Bitcoin, what’s next? Are they going to start trading Pokémon cards too? 🎴
