The reasons? Seasonal optimism (because humans love patterns), dwindling exchange reserves (because hoarding is always sensible), and, of course, the sheer gravitational pull of greed. Analysts whisper of further gains-though they would, wouldn’t they?
BTC’s market cap now exceeds $2.5 trillion, a sum so vast it could fund several small wars or buy every samovar in Russia. Its dominance over altcoins lingers at 55%, as if to remind them who is still, regrettably, in charge.
ZCash: The Unexpected Guest
The usual suspects-Ethereum, Ripple, Solana, Dogecoin-have dutifully mimicked Bitcoin’s rise, gaining a modest 2-3%. But ZCash? Oh, ZCash has leapt by 20%, as if suddenly remembering it exists. Weekly gains: 190%. Current price: $160. The crowd cheers, though no one is quite sure why.
Meanwhile, Avalanche, Cronos, Internet Computer, and Worldcoin sulk in the corner, nursing minor losses. The total crypto market cap? $4.35 trillion-a number so large it might as well be fictional.
