Fast forward to today, and Bitcoin’s price has skyrocketed past $100,000, leaving our professor’s forecast in the dust. A tenfold increase, no less! Who’s laughing now, Rogoff? 😏📈
On Tuesday, with Bitcoin lounging around $113,000 like a chap at a country club, Rogoff had a spot of introspection. “I was far too optimistic about the U.S. getting its act together on crypto regulation,” he mused. Well, I say, old boy, you weren’t just optimistic-you were living in a different universe! 🌌🤦♂️
