Crypto researcher BD, ever the dramatist, revealed there are now 11 XRP treasury companies. Evernorth is on course to be the largest public XRP holder, planning to raise a staggering $1 billion-because nothing says “confidence” like buying a cryptocurrency with a legal battle. 💰💸

Meanwhile, BD mentioned the other XRP treasury companies and their modest coin collections. Trident, the second-largest, has $500 million. Webus’s treasury is worth $300 million. VivoPower has purchased $121 million of XRP and plans to stake some of them in Flare for yield. How charming. 🧙‍♂️📈

Wellgistics has the fifth-largest XRP treasury, having deployed $50 million to purchase XRP. Hyperscale? A mere $10 million. Everything Blockchain also deployed $10 million for its XRP treasury and plans to stake it in Flare for yields. Meanwhile, Japanese company Gumi has revealed plans to deploy $17 million to buy XRP. Gumi also recently revealed it’s investing $5 million in Evernorth’s PIPE, contributing to the Ripple-backed company’s proposed $1 billion raise. Notably, the company ranks sixth among XRP treasury companies by the amount it plans to deploy. Worksport, BC Bud, and Digital Comm are the remaining XRP treasury companies, holding $5 million, $250,000, and $225,000, respectively. A veritable gold rush, if you ignore the legal drama. 🏴‍☠️

Ripple Still Behind Ethereum In Terms Of XRP Treasury Companies

Despite Ripple’s efforts, it’s worth mentioning that the number of XRP treasury companies is still below Ethereum’s. Strategic ETH Reserve data shows there are currently 69 ETH treasury companies-way ahead of the 11 XRP ones. These Ethereum treasure troves hold a combined $22.99 billion in ETH, which represents almost 5% of the altcoin’s total supply. Meanwhile, XRP’s treasuries total a mere $2 billion.
